Hey all, I don't really know if many people read these things or not, but it's always nice putting my ideas down in some context. Not much has changed in my life, I'm still in the process of finding a job so I can leave behind my god forsaken town of nothingness. Now, like I've mentioned before, i have plans for my life, and have a general idea on how to get there, but I just really need a nice big push into the right direction. But other than that, life has been okay, trying to get out and about more, and become a more outgoing person, meet more people, make new connections, and just better my life in general. Also, I apologize for not writing in so long, as I've not had much to write about. but here I am still, typing away the night, trying to figure my life out, and find out what my true calling is.. Maybe I should travel or something, see the world, then worry about starting a life of my own... Anyways I think that's about all I have for tonight. Peace and love to all.

Title Goes Here!!
So, as I sit here typing this post, watching Fringe (as I type this, Walter is making soup lol), I think to myself why I'm writing these posts on this blog, especially since I don't really have any readers.. Anyways, I think the reason I started writing on here again, was the fact I'm going through a lot of changes in my life, not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually. So, I guess I had an inspiration, not quite an epiphone, but more a revelation in my life to start writing, and express my life and experiences through not only words, but knowledge that I pass on to you, my readers. Now, that you know me, my background, and some of the reasoning behind these writings. However, I may not have much to write today, I promise to be back, and keep this running for as long as I can. Peace and Good Vibes to all.

So, for dinner, I am having Macaroni and meatballs, with Sriracha Chili Sauce. So, I must say, even though this is very simple, easy to make, and not very challenging or amazing, it's the simplicity that makes it so good. Comfort food is what you would call it, one of those foods you had throughout childhood, and have slightly changed to suit your tastes as you age.. The human brain is an amazing thing, the way we perceive food, it's been found that smell and taste have the strongest link to memories. I believe this is due to the fact that the amygdala controls memory, and sits right next to the smell center of the brain, that's why smell is the strongest memory inducing sense.. So, whether it's a very complex 3-course dinner, or something as simple as a home cooked meal, nothing comes close to beating memories of good food, and good times associated with the people that cook it.
So, now that I've devoted some of my day to this blog, I guess I should start somewhere.. But where I might add, for that, I'll ask you all, my readers. But in the mean time, I'll just write my ideas and knowledge of cuisine in general, perhaps mentioning good foods that I eat on days that I write posts here. In my experience, making and enjoying good food has it's start, a good recipe, and the cook behind it. Without that, you won't get very far in the culinary world. So as a writer, foodie, and avid cook, I have made a goal in my lifetime to become a Sous chef in a 4 star restaurant, or perhaps own my own restaurant. I would most likely cook Oriental, or classic French cuisine. Also, I would like to finish and further my knowledge in culinary arts, I believe Sullivan University, or Le Cordon Bleu would be a good choice. I just need to get my life on track, get money for college, and go. I would then likely go to The Sushi Institute in California to further my education. So, with this all in mind, I have a lot to accomplish and overcome, but it's something I'm ready for. Sorry if I'm boring my readers, I'm just trying to give my background, who I am, and what I'm doing. Ideally I want this blog to be something I come to once a day, and share my lifes events in detail, preferably about my work, and things I learn, want to share, and just get known. And to share one thing, there is an amazing cookbook called "Modernist Cuisine-The art and science of cooking". Now, normally this 7 volume book series runs about $500 USD, but I know of a way to get it for free. The Pirate Bay, and used in parallel with uTorrent, you can download this for free. I would recommend this for those getting into food and cooking in general, it has a ton of useful knowledge, and then some. Even how to cook steaks Sous Vide, and interesting technique. So, with this tidbit of information, I wrap up today's post, and I'll see where this takes me, also, it's dinner time, I may post something about it later, hehe. Peace, and good vibes.

So, life has been good, I just recently got an urge to become a writer, perhaps about food? Life? Who knows, but I shall keep this blog updated now. Writing has just suddenly called upon me. So, I think food will be a good subject or this blog, I'll keep working on it. So, for those who do not know, I have trained at Job Corps for Culinary Arts. Although I only finished 72 percent, I have taken skills and learn things that I would not have otherwise about the amazing world of food. So, as a so called |"foodie" I start this blog with the best of intentions of spreading the knowledge and know how of my current understanding of the culinary world. I have been mulling on being a writer about the subject of food for quite sometime. However, I need the motivation and possibly fan base? To motivate me, and spread my knowledge. Here I am starting to sound like a broken record... I have seen things in this world that would amaze, shock, and stump most people. So, I shall write abut the mundane, something we do every day, we eat, consume, and indulge on our wants and needs. Food. It is essential, it is craved, and it is an art form all rolled into one. No matter the culture you find, the people who eat it, or those that enjoy eating, cooking, or supplying those that use the food to crate, it's all the same. Sustenance, nutrients, basic life needs. However, I believe I will be covering my side and understanding of cuisine. Whether it's baking, sauce making, grilling, traditional, or new wave cooking I choose to study and expand my knowledge of traditional Oriental cuisine. However I also enjoy classic French, and Southern U.S. cooking, as I was born and raised in Kentucky. So,on this note, I end this post, and shall be documenting, posting, and sharing my knowledge and amazing experiences with food. Have fun, and let me know what you think of where this blog might go, and let me know what you want to hear and see as a new creative writer/foodie. Good day, and good vibes.
